The Teeth

One day I woke up and decided to make some fake teeth. And they had to be bloody and chunky, of course!

The sculpted teeth, made out of Sculpey clay, ready to be baked.

The teeth after they left the oven, baking complete.

Base teeth color (off-white), painted with acrylic paint.

Red wash of gouache paint for "watered-down blood" look.

First round of wax age, a deeper reddish brown.

The final layer of wax age. They are now complete!

"Modern Art"

IMG_1140.jpg
IMG_1253.jpg

"Modern Art" was a 10-minute play that SCAD put on. I helped to create the props and set dressing for this play (and the other 15 plays SCAD put on alongside this one). I helped build these frames, paint them, as well as sculpting and painting the statues that can be seen below. Created alongside Jason Dock Harrell.
